The One and Only: Mootools!

You can't use Mootools with any other framework.

Your scripts will break and will not work if you include two frameworks on the same page. Below is a list of popular frameworks. The list explains whether they will or will not work with Mootools.

• Prototype - Will will not work.
• JQuery - Will not work. (Unless you have Compatibility Mode turned on.)
• Dojo - Namespace Framework. Will work.
• Rico - Will not work. (Add-on of Prototype.*
• YUI - Namespace framework. Will work.
• EXT - `Namespace framework. Use EXT-Mootools Adapter.

So please, save your self the trouble of wondering why when your favorite Prototype script and your favorite Mootools don't work together!

Many people come to the moo guys asking why their script won't work when they have JQuery or Dojo included with Mootools on the same page. If you ask them that question after this, they probably won't answer you.
