The mooWalkthrough is a simple and concise walk through for the Mootools Javascript library that is primarily aimed at first-time library users and programmers that are new to Mootools. The mooWalkthrough covers the basics of Mootools which include Elements, Events and Effects.

===== Walkthrough =====
There are current three walk through versions that you can read.
  * The brand new [[1.2.x/home|Mootools 1.2.x Walkthrough]], recently rewritten in a concise and simple format. You should read this one.
  * The older and original [[walkthrough-1.2/|Mootools 1.2 Walkthrough]] which accompanied the beta releases of Mootools 1.2. The 1.2.x walkthrough is recommended.
  * The very first mooWalkthrough covering Mootools 1.11 is now accessible also, [[1.11/|The Mootools 1.11 Walkthrough]].

===== About =====
The mooWalkthrough was written to aid new comers to Mootools and also those who pick Mootools as their first venture into the library-world. It was started because the first author couldn't code well enough but was a decent walk through writer. It was also written as a walk through because it seemed to the first author that the excellent [[http://mootorial.com/wiki/|Mootorial]] wasn't a tutorial exactly but instead a in-depth API demo. After reading the Mootorial a couple of times and combing the docs, a walk through started to form. The initial walk through was very wordy. The new [[1.2.x/home|Mootools 1.2.x Walkthrough]] is much easier to read because it's less wordy and more concise.

The Mootools world is growing at an incredible rate.
